Meaning of Menopause Client Service Agreement

This Agreement is entered into between the Menopause Coach and the Client and the Client will be asked to confirm they have agreed and accepted this Agreement prior to booking a consultation. The purpose of a consultation with Meaning of Menopause is to provide evidence-based lifestyle coaching, nutritional guidance, physical activity strategies, advanced breathwork, and emotional resilience techniques to support the Client through perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause. The Coach is also able to consult those in pre-menopause, to help them best prepare for the menopausal transition.

IMPORTANT MEDICAL DISCLAIMER: Menopause Coaching provides non-medical, naturalistic lifestyle and wellness support. It is NOT a substitute for professional medical care, gynecological diagnosis, or Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). The Coach is not a licensed physician or registered presriber. The Client agrees to consult their primary care doctor or gynecologist regarding medical conditions, prescription medications, or HRT choices. The Client retains full personal responsibility for their choices and health decisions.

1. Scope of Service & Curriculum Framework

1.1 Coaching services align with non-invasive, naturalistic wellness practices focusing on the core pillars of menopause transition support including: (1) Hormonal & Symptom Education encompassing guidance on understanding oestrogen, progesterone, and testosterone shifts, identifying symptom triggers, and managing fatigue, hot flushes, and mood swings; (2) Lifestyle & Nutritional Support involving tailored nutritional strategies, exercise recommendations, sleep hygiene practices, and weight management tools for midlife well-being; (3) Breathwork & Stress Reduction which involves mindful breathing exercises, relaxation techniques, and emotional wellness strategies designed to reduce anxiety and support resilience; (4) Ethics & Standards whereby the Coach agrees to strictly follow the professional standards for independent health and wellness coaching.

2. Program Structure & Communication

2.1 The Client agrees to participate in Menopause Coaching consisting of scheduled sessions delivered by video or telephone call with the Coach.

2.2 Between sessions, Coach will be available by email, text, or voicemail (average response time: 48 hours). Consultation will be billed at £30 for up to 30 minutes and £50 for up to 60 minutes.

3. Schedule, Fees & Payment Terms

3.1 Payment is required at least 24 hours prior to every scheduled session. Invoices will be issued by Meaning of Menopause when booking your appointment and the call will only take place once payment has been received in full.

4. Confidentiality & Privacy

4.1 All discussions, symptom logs, and coaching notes remain strictly confidential under coaching privacy standards. Exceptions to this include information required by law, in cases of imminent harm to self or others. For more details please see the Confidentiality Agreement. All Clients must have agreed to abiding by the Confidentiality Agreement prior to any consultations.

5. Cancellation, Refund & Liability Policies

5.1 Please see the full Cancellation and Refunds Policy. All Clients must have agreed to the Cancellation and Refunds Policy prior to any consultations.

5.2 The Coach reserves the right to refuse support or terminate a consultation to potential and/or current Clients at any time, for any reasonable reason; especially if the Coach feels engagement may harm themselves or their business.

6.Client Expectations

6.1 The Client is expected to attend appointments on time. Late arrival to video calls will not automatically incur an extension of your appointment time.

6.2 Clients must consult their GP or other healthcare professional if they have any questions outside the scope of practice of their Coach as outlined above. All Clients accept the risk of following any guidance from the Coach in relation to any of the scope of service elements above. The Coach is not liable for any injury, accident or illness incurred. All advice is followed at your own risk. Clients must disclose any medications or illnesses that may impact Coaching as this will ensure that the Coach adapts and adjusts your sessions to fit your needs. Any accidents or injuries incurred by the lack of disclosure are the full responsibility of the Client.
